NP Programming Standards

Just to review...the following are the standards for the minimum and maximum number of programs we should produce in a year. Please help me keep track of our numbers, by maintaining an account of the programs YOU are doing. I will keep watch on the overall picture!

Children's Programs
Storytimes:
Mother Goose (One a week)
Toddler (One a week)
Preschool (One a week)
Family (optional) (One to two a month)

Ongoing:
One to three a month
(These may include crafts, family nights, themed storytimes (bedtime, bilingual)

Special Programs:
One to three a quarter
(These may include book discussion, film, themed event, outside presenter)

Outreach:
One to three a month
(These may include groups that come to the library and library programs that are offered at outside locations—both regularly scheduled and by appointment.)

Young Adult Programs

Teen Advisory Boards
Local TAB groups will meet once per month from Sept. – May. The meeting location will rotate between DU and NP.

Volunteens
Volunteen program will be offered from June – August each year.

Special Programs
One to three per quarter.
(May be staff presented programs, book discussions, crafts, films, game nights, or an outside presenter.)

Adult Programs
Book Discussions
(One to two monthly)

Computer Classes
(Four per month)

Special Programs
One to three per quarter which may be crafts, film screenings/discussions, or an outside presenter.
