I found this website that gives step by step instructions on printing pdf documents 2 per page. This is really helpful for people who have to print an entire manual or something that is a bunch of pages and would normally cost an arm and a leg.

Color Printer
Hello all,
The formatter in the color printer has been replaced today to correct the problems that we were having. It has been working fine if there are any problems send a track-it.

Printer Signs
In an attempt to get people to pay attention to the signage on the printer that refers them to the lab, I have printed some on lime green paper and put them on the printers. Hope it works! haha

Fun with Printers

Wednesday night, Asberry will adjust the shelf across from the Info Desk and switch that printer with the one in the lab. On Thursday, Sarah (and Chris?) will re-image the public PCs to straighten out the what-prints-where problem.

Printing
Hello all,
We were having some printing troubles earlier and Chris has given me new instructions on how to deal with them.
First, do the standard powering down the computer and the printer. That should clear the printer queue and printing should function as normal. If you do that and it still does not print then go on to step two.
Unplug the small grey (gray) box on the side of the printer, unplug both the power cord and the ethernet line. Very important!.... plug them back in, and that should cause the back up to print. If that does not work then go on to step three.
Send a track-it because the SAM server needs to be reset.
He gave me a explaination and it was very long and a little technical but it has to do with us having fibers and not cables like the others.
